Answers to the questions we are asked most often.
What files can I attach to a request?
Technical drawings (PDF, DWG, DXF), 3D models (STEP, IGES, X_T, SLDPRT, STL), lists (XLSX, CSV) and ZIP archives. Files are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in encrypted form. The limits on the number and size of files are shown under the file field.
Can I send a request without a drawing?
Yes. Describe the project in the notes field: what the part is for, which material you are considering and what quantities you plan. We will advise what information is needed for a reliable quotation.
What if the documentation is confidential?
Tick the box in the form saying the project requires a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and do not attach files. We will contact you about a secure channel for sending the documentation.
Which quality requirements can I specify?
In the form you can specify, among others, PPAP, an FAI report, a 100% inspection report, IMDS, a certificate of conformity and a material certificate (e.g. 3.1). Enter any other requirements in the notes field.
Do you make prototypes and small series?
Yes. We make prototype parts, series production and custom parts. State in the form whether you need a prototype, a trial batch, a series or a one-off order.
What happens to my data and files?
Data and files are stored in encrypted form, accessible only to the people handling the request, and deleted after the period stated in the information clause (up to 24 months). Details are in the information clause for quotation requests.
